PokerStars announces APPT schedule

The verdict is in, and after a successful first season, PokerStars has announced the schedule for the second season of the Asian Pacific Poker Tour.

The season will span the region from Macau, China to Auckland, New Zealand, with a grand final scheduled to play in Australia.

“Following the success of the APPT’s first season, we’re very excited to announce the schedule for Season 2, which includes a brand new event in Auckland, plus increased buy-ins to create even bigger prize pools,” said Jeffrey Haas, APPT president.

According to Haas, the PokerStars APPT brought a whole new dimension to poker in the Asia Pacific region, and it is a testament to the success of Season 1 that the tour is being brought back again.
